So I’m a big fan of this Disney movie Eight Below, which is about a team of sled dogs who have to survive on their own after being abandoned in a snowstorm. I just found out that it is a remake of a Japanese movie from the 80s which looks amazing. Someone has posted the entire thing in parts on youtube and I’m super excited to watch it. skip forward to around 4:45 in the clip above to see epic shots of dogs running across a snowy landscape to awesome Vangelis music. No word yet on whether the Japanese film will also include a scene of dogs admiring the northern lights, but regardless I wll probably like it.
